Salman Husain is a Partner and Managing Director at Monument Capital Partners. Salman advises and leads companies, boards of directors, and management teams on strategic alternatives and investment banking initiatives.
Salman has completed more than 30 M&A transacations in the Aerospace, Defense, and Government Services industry where he has advised or sold clients to some of the leading strategic buyers and private equity firms in the industry, including AT&T, Arlington Capital Partners, Veritas Capital, Renovus Capital, Bluestone Investment Partners, and AE Industrial Partners.
Prior to co-founding Monument Capital Partners, Salman was a Vice President at Aronson Capital Partners for two years and an Associate at KippsDeSanto & Co for three years. Salman also has seven years of federal strategy and operations consulting experience at IBM Global Business Services, Accenture Federal Services, and ASET Partners, giving him 18 total years of experience and 10 years of middle-market M&A experience. He now specializes in buy- and sell-side M&A transactions, corporate finance, and strategic planning. His areas of expertise are Information Technology, C4ISR, Cybersecurity, and Defense Electronics for the U.S. Defense and Intelligence Community.
Salman is a recipient of the M&A Advisor 12th Annual Emerging Leaders Award, which honors the achievements of outstanding young professionals who have reached a significant level of success in mergers and acquisitions, turnaround, and financing while still under the age of 40.
Salman received a B.S. in Industrial and Enterprise Systems Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. He is registered with FINRA as an Investment Banking Representative (Series 63 and 79).
