Monument Capital Partners is pleased to announce that Partner and Senior Vice President, Salman Husain, has been recognized by M&A Advisor as one of its 2021 Emerging Leaders in the Dealmaker Category. This marks the 12^th year that M&A Advisor is recognizing high achievers under the age of 40 who have reached a significant level of success in mergers and acquisitions, turnaround, and financing. The review of nominees and selection process was led by prominent members and experts in the M&A community.

At Monument Capital Partners, Salman provides sell-side M&A and financial advisory services to middle-market aerospace, defense, and government services companies. Prior to co-founding Monument Capital Partners, he spent five years as an investment banker with Aronson Capital Partners and KippsDeSanto, where he completed over $1 billion in transaction value for his clients. During this time, Salman advised and sold companies to large public entities and private equity funds, including AT&T, Blackstone, and The Carlyle Group. His areas of expertise are IT, Cybersecurity, C4ISR, and Defense Electronics for the U.S. Defense and Intelligence Community. Salman has a bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Enterprise Systems Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champagne and an MBA from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.
